I can't believe that my baby girl will be here in seven weeks (give or take a week, of course)!! I got the call I've been waiting on for weeks today. Alyssa's furniture FINALLY arrived at the store today. We will go get it tomorrow after work. So, by this weekend we'll have her nursery put together, which makes me very happy!!
We went to Columbus for a baby shower this past weekend. It is always good getting to see everyone there. We don't get to go home that often, unfortunately. With both of us being in choir, it's hard to get away some times. We belong to such a small church (I say small...there are about 500 members; but the choir only averages 15 per service on an extremely good day), that we feel bad for leaving. But I digress from that...
We got a lot of nice stuff including cloths, bottles, burp cloths (pictured), a cute little bracelet (also pictured...and you know every little girl needs one), bath tub, diaper bag, and many other things. Thank you to everyone who came and made the day special for us. Here are a few pictures from the shower (I definitely realized that I think I look better in person than I do in these pictures...a diet will soon follow Alyssa's arrival).

They are almost too cute to use, but Ashley promises me they are machine washable.
