Six months?!?!?!

Oh, say it ain't so Joe! Say it ain't so!

Well, it is so. Today, Alyssa is 6 months old! Time has just flown by. Alyssa is currently sick with bronchitis. We took her back to the doctor yesterday (after having gone last Wednesday for her 6 month checkup). She is now on amoxicillin twice a day for 10 days. Hopefully, that will cure her all up! At her 6 month checkup, she weighed 16.9 pounds (75%) and was 26.5 inches (75%). Yesterday she weighed 17.1 pounds and was still 26.5 inches. Obviously, our child is eating very well :) Now for recent pictures!!

My parents came a couple weeks ago. This is a picture of them with the grandchildren.

So, that is a little recap of the past few weeks. I don't know if I mentioned or not in a previous post, but our house is on the market. We have had someone look at it the last two weeks. They don't give you much notice on that sort of stuff. We usually get the call about an hour or two before they want to come look at it. It's kind of frustrating...Imean, I have a six month old for crying out loud. Oh, well... Apparently one family has it at the top of their list and want to come back for a second viewing when the dad's foot gets better (he has a broken foot, I think they said...who knows). We are going to Columbus this weekend. My cousin, Mindy, is getting married in May and she is having a shower in Grenada Saturday morning that Mom and I are going to. And then if the weather permits (for the little one), we are going to go to the baseball game for a little bit to watch the Dawgs play. I'm excited to see all the family!

While I'm here I want to thank everyone for your encouraging words and your prayers over the last couple weeks. I went to counseling last Thursday and am going back today. It means so much to me to know that I have the support system behind me that I do. I love each and everyone of you so much. Thank you again for your support!
