Where we are and where we've been

I realized prior to starting this that no one had seen pictures of the house (and for that matter pictures of any of the places we have lived). That is when I came to the conclusion that I needed to do something so everyone can keep up with us better. Hence starting the blog.

After I got my job at PharmaPac, LLC. in November 2005, we moved to Meridian, MS. We lived in an apartment complex called Stratford Manor. We had a two bedroom, 1 1/2 bath two story apartment. We thought it was bad until our next place.

When Josh started his job at West Memphis Utility Commission in May 2006, we moved to West Memphis, AR. We rented from Steve Lackey Company. I would not do that again. We had a one bedroom, one bath apartment that didn't have a door to the bedroom. It was ridiculous!! They never came and fixed things that were broke. It was a horrible experience. I got my job at GTx, Inc. in August 2006, and we started saving for our house.

We closed on the house November 30, 2006. We just about have it decorated the way we want it, but there are still a few things that we need to buy (when we have the money for it).

I have failed to mention our beloved baby. No, he is not a two legged one, but four. He is a one year old Pomeranian-chihuahua mix named Bear. On most days Josh wants to get rid of him, but I won't let him. We have had him since the end of April. He is still trying to get used to a new house. Therefore, he is peeing and pooing inside (mostly in our bedroom :/). I can't really blame him too much. He has moved three times since we got him (from the pet store, from Meridian, and from West Memphis). All that change must be hard for him. But he is getting better slowly.
