Catching up on Grabowski Family News!!

Yeah! I am finally blogging again. Sorry for the long absence. It has been quite busy around our little house.

School is officially started with projects being due, books to read, and teachers to observe. I am only taking one class this semester. It is just TOO hard to take two classes, work full time, and try to have a life with my wonderful husband.

We hosted junior high boys (ten of them to be exact) the first weekend in February for Elevate (our version of Disciple Now). The kids weren't too bad, however, the two college kids that were their leaders were HORRIBLE!!! They really have A LOT of growing up to do. They kept us up all weekend (not the kids, keep in mind...the leaders! You know, like playing the guitar at 2 IN THE MORNING!!!). It was a blast. We will not be participating as a host home next year, sorry Michael!

We should be starting to finish our upstairs soon. We got a quote and told the guy we wanted to use him. Josh is supposed to be getting all that together. We are wanting to get that done, so we can put our house on the market. We'll see...

This post is delayed because I have been in bed the past week with a head cold that I can't seem to shake. Of course it is not as easy to shake a cold when you are PREGNANT!!! That's right! Josh and I found out on New Year's Eve that we are expecting our first child. We are thrilled (well to be honest, Josh is becoming thrilled...it is taking him a little longer). Our due date is September 9 (09-09-09). Josh's birthday is the 10th, and seeing as how he is an only child he is kind of hesitant about wanting to share his birthday...silly daddy!

I go back in a week for my next appointment, and that will be the end of my first trimester!!
