No, Christmas isn't delayed. That was the name of our Christmas production this year at church. The music was actually written by our music minister, Lee, and the drama was written by our recreation minister, Jake. Josh and I were both in it again this year (we took a year off last year). It was neat being a part of a production that was completely done in house. We had fun doing it, but it was very difficult with both of us being in it and having Alyssa. We had practice every night last week, and then the performances were Saturday, Sunday (two performances), and Monday. We are exhausted from being out every night. Have I ever mentioned that we have amazing friends up here? We had someone watch Alyssa at their house every night. And then my mom came up for the weekend, so she could put Alyssa down earlier in the night than we had been able to during the week. It all worked out pretty well. I'm glad I ended up being in it. During rehearsal week, you get to know people on a deeper level than you ever would be able to during just regular choir practice. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Tuesday, we had Alyssa's 3 month pictures taken. We only bought 3, 4x6s in one pose...we are going to get a collage of 3, 6, 9, and 12 month shots. She did amazingly well. Our appointment was at 7pm. I was really worried that she would be fussy since she had had a long week and weekend. But we fed her a 6:30, and she hammed it up for the camera. Here is the picture that we bought.
And yesterday, Alyssa had her 4 month check-up and shots (yes, it is early...she is only a little over 3 months old). She weighed a little over 13 pounds (75%) and was 24 inches long (50-75%). I always forget to get her head circumference. She did so well with her shots this time. She got fussy when the doctor was getting some wax out of her ear, but then fell asleep while we were waiting on the nurse to come give her her shots. She took the oral medicine, and then came the shots. She cried for just a second and then fell right back to sleep. Which was amazing since it was time for her to eat. I was so proud!!
Here is one last picture. I took it last night when we got home from church. She looked too cute not to take a picture yesterday.
