We have been very busy the last few weeks, and we won't be able to stop for another few weeks. The weekend after my birthday we went to Columbus, so Josh and I could go to the Alabama/UT Chattanooga game in Tuscaloosa. We had a pretty good time. Alabama whooped the other team, so it was more like a high school football game than a college game. Oh, well...what do you do?

When we were on our way to Columbus Friday, Josh's dad called and said he was going to be flying into Jackson on Sunday. So, we stuck around Columbus longer than normal so that Gary could meet Alyssa for the first time. It was so sweet seeing him with her. I hate that both of Josh's parents live so far away. He told me that they check the blog in CA, so hello Grabowskis! We miss you guys!

We left Bear at Mom and Dad's since we were coming right back in a few days. And because he escaped on our drive down. I was getting Alyssa back in her car seat (Josh felt the need to get her out while we were at the gas station for some reason still unknown to me), and out of the corner of my eye I see Bear jumping out of the car. I finally caught him just as Josh is coming out. Not cool by any means.
So, we headed back to Columbus on Wednesday after work. All of my family came to my parent's house for Thanksgiving. It was so nice to get to see everyone. Most of them had never met Alyssa before, so it was great getting to introduce her to everyone.

(she was holding his finger...too cute)
Funny story...my youngest cousin, Preston told us he wanted to hold Alyssa once she went to sleep (the other two cousins that were there did not want to hold her at all...they thought they would break her). Anyway, Lauren finally got her to sleep, so she handed her off. As soon as she touched Preston's arms she started crying a little. I reassured him that he was doing fine and that he needed to gently rock her and she'd go back to sleep. Sure enough within seconds she was back asleep. When he moved to the living room a little later, he was walking all hunched over trying not to wake her up. He's precious!

Friday, we went to Josh's aunt's house for lunch with her, Danny, and Pampaw. Pampaw is too funny with Alyssa! He was never really been one to get in the floor and play with a baby. HOWEVER, he is with her! I have pictures to prove it.

Saturday, Mom and I went to the MS State/Ole Miss game (aka the Egg Bowl). We had a blast!! This was the first game I have been able to go to since college. And boy was it a good one to go to. For those of you who don't know MS State won 41-27.

(2nd biggest on a collegiate campus from what I'm told)

That was about how our past two weeks have gone. This week is going to be EXTREMELY busy! We have practice every night this week for our Christmas production. And then we have four shows this weekend (one Saturday, two Sunday, and one Monday). So, we will be exhausted by next week. And then the next weekend is our Sunday School Christmas party. Busy, busy!! I can't wait for a break at Christmas. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well and had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I'll leave you with one last picture.
