I'm updating this post with the rest of the pictures Mom sent from Alyssa's vacation at Grandmamma and Grandaddy's house.
Well, we have had our time with Alyssa lately! She ran a really high fever (around 102) a couple weeks ago for a few days (May 13 and 14). We took her to the doctor and they told us she had blisters in her throat. She got put on antibiotics and stayed home from daycare for a couple of days. Then on May 20 she started breaking out in a rash. When I got her up that morning, it looked like she had bitten by something during the night. I took her on the daycare and they called a little later saying she had to go home because they thought she had hand-foot-mouth disease. So, Josh took her back to the doctor to be told that it was nothing. The doctor did change her antibiotic that day, though. By night time Thursday, her whole body was starting to get this rash. We ended up taking her to the ER because he face was swelling so bad...we were afraid it was getting in her throat. Five and a half hours later, we were headed home not having a clue as to what was causing the rash. We gave her benadryl, which seemed to help with the itching. The doctors said it could have been an allergic reaction to something or just some sort of viral rash. I felt so bad for the little angel. She looked horrible! But she's all better now :)
