Baby furniture...check!!

We FINALLY got our furniture last week. Josh and I went and picked it up Thursday after work. He refused to put it together until Saturday, which made me a little sad. So this is what Alyssa's room looked like from Thursday until Saturday.

Josh and I worked together to get the furniture put together. We make a pretty good team when it comes to directions of any sort (driving, building, etc). I read, he follows. So, I perched myself in this lovely glider my mom and dad got us (which I put together all by myself Friday while Josh was mowing the grass) and read directions while he "built."

Bear was not too keen on the idea of all the commotion that was going on. He laid in the floor and pouted majority of the afternoon.

After several cases of "let's move it a little more this way" and "how about another two inches that way" I was finally satisfied with how the furniture was placed. I put the bedding in and hung the curtains I had made. And all finished!! For now anyway...I still need to buy a lamp or two, letters for over the crib, a mirror, and some picture frames. But you get the idea.
